Crashing The Trash House

Barack Obama, Celebrity, Etiquette, Pop-Culture

TRASH people crash the White House. So what? The place is packed with nasty, noisome parasites. An extra pair makes no difference. At least not to me. Therefore, I’m unexercised by the specter of Tareq and Michaele Salahi frolicking with Rham, Barack, and Biden. There’s something apropos in a couple of reality-show exhibitionists brazenly elbowing their way uninvited into a party of ponces.

This is a party thrown by a president who was launched by the Queen of Kitsch (Oprah). This is the place where Bono came to petition Bush for loot. Before him, Clinton used the space for his nefarious dealings. All in all, from the White House are issued shake-down schemes that make Bernie Madoff look like “a mere babe in grand larceny boot camp.” So it’s entirely fitting that a nation of reality-show viewers should have representatives at the Trash House who themselves “have left an extensive paper trail in federal bankruptcy and state court filings.”

You get the drift: the White House has long since lost the dignity of the office. Trash people crashing a party there completes the picture.

As for security: The president has very few real risks; the huffing and puffing over the alleged danger he was exposed to is just that: a whole lot of hooey.

What you can be sure of is that heads will role over this faux paux. The responsible parties will be made to fall on their swords way faster than will the cogs in the military machine who facilitated the eventual death of 13 servicemen and women at Fort Hood, at the hand of the jihadi Major Nidal Hasan.

A Day In The Life Of White South Africa

Crime, Racism, South-Africa

This Live Leak depicts a typical South African crime scene. A relative endured a similar ordeal, except that she was knocked on the head with a gun and packed into the trunk. By dint of a miracle, the car the black criminals intended to drive away with my relative in tow would not start. The black “guard,” like this Live-Leak specimen, cowered in his sealed booth. The damage was done… The life of a person beautiful inside and out was devastated by scum.

Watch how said guard puts up no fight. Observe how the savages head straight for the woman who has just driven in. Not content to simply steal her belongings, pay attention to the way they gratuitously kick and repeatedly shoot her. Do they abuse the proverbial fox guarding the chicken coop? Not on your life. The Brother is unharmed. Finally, I hope you didn’t need me to point out the manner in which other black onlookers swarm the crime scene … after the fact, once the danger has passed.

A day in the life of white South Africa.

Update II: Make Me Thankful: Don't Enlist!

Criminal Injustice, Government, Homeland Security, Iraq, Islam, Jihad, Military, Political Correctness, Terrorism

The excerpt is from my new WND.COM column, “Make Me Thankful: Don’t Enlist!”:

“Instead of tough, immediate action against every cog in the military machine that promoted, pampered and palliated the mass murderer Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, victims got a commission of inquiry.

Or in Pentagon speak, ‘a broad 45-day review.’

The state’s response to the slaughter at Fort Hood of 13 of its own by a Muslim Army psychiatrist, who also wounded more than 30 in the shootings at the Texas military post on Nov. 5, will be met, first, with more bureaucracy – more salaries for more slackers – and, thereafter, with a brick-thick report! …

Thinking of enlisting? You’ll be fighting not for country and countrymen; but will be granting a banal bureaucrat a lien on your life.

As for the inquiry cobbled together to stop future Hasans:

Permanent Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby, a fictitious, but oh-so-real character in the brilliant British satires ‘Yes Minister’ and ‘Yes Prime Minister,’ would agree with me when I say that government commissions are where accountability goes to die.”

The complete column, now on WND.COM, is “Make Me Thankful: Don’t Enlist!”

Update I (Nov. 27): A correction to our friends over at the Libertarian Republican’s blog post: I’ve made it abundantly clear that it is not merely the military under Obama that suffers the afflictions highlighted in “Make Me Thankful: Don’t Enlist!”, and in “Your Government’s Jihadi Protection Program”—but the military, period.

Hozanas to the generic Hasan were the norm during Bush’s reign over the Army.

Patriotic Americans, as highlighted in “Take this, Mr. President, For Ramos and Compean,” were prosecuted and persecuted with equal zeal under Genghis Bush.

In the waning years of Bush’s G-d-awful term, I offered a flip-side argument: “Support The Draft … for politicians and bureaucrats”:

Having expatiated against the illegal, immoral and unconstitutional Iraq war from its inception, I’d recommend a different course of action in furtherance of freedom. For one, crying for the carping consular staff is a bad idea. They seem to want to enjoy the favors of office without bearing the burdens—to pick and choose those policies they are prepared to promote.

Creating a risk-free workplace for the already privileged government employee will do nothing to curb the State’s endless exploits. Coddling its recruits won’t place a dampener on government’s callous, confiscatory practices. The riskier the stakes faced by the political class, the better. Let as many of them as possible shoulder the consequences of the Iraq policy. Force more of the state’s pen-pushing laptop bombardiers to the empire’s fronts. Then, perhaps, will we witness policy changes that percolate down to The People.

Update II: The response to this column, public and personal, has been better than I had hoped. To think of the filthy hate mail I used to get when I wrote against the Iraq war for all those years!

If in writing this column, I’ve helped to save one life — then that is more of a reward than I could have hoped for. As is written in the Talmud (and plagiarized by Islam), “Whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.” [Jerusalem Talmud Sanhedrin 4:1 (22a)]

“I can think of only two occasions on which I agreed with George Bush. Both involved the upholding of the people’s negative, or leave-me-alone, rights. The first was his refusal to capitulate to the Kyoto-protocol crazies.” (From “Conservatives For Killing Terri”) BO has more than made up for that temporary reprieve. Why rush over to Copenhagen to give away the store amidst a depression—to say nothing of a controversy that has even some greens wondering about the veracity of the voodoo science of global warming.

Over to Christopher Monckton, whom I introduced a couple of posts ago.

THE CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY OF GLOBAL WARMING
Written by Christopher Monckton
Tuesday, 24 November 2009

This is what they did – these climate “scientists” on whose unsupported word the world’s classe politique proposes to set up an unelected global government this December in Copenhagen.

An unelected global government with vast and unprecedented powers to control all formerly free markets, to tax wealthy nations and all of their financial transactions, to regulate the economic and environmental affairs of all nations, and to confiscate and extinguish all patent and intellectual property rights.

The tiny, close-knit clique of climate scientists who invented and now drive the “global warming” fraud – for fraud is what we now know it to be – tampered with temperature data so assiduously that, on the recent admission of one of them, land temperatures since 1980 have risen twice as fast as ocean temperatures.

One of the thousands of emails recently circulated by a whistleblower at the University of East Anglia, where one of the world’s four global-temperature datasets is compiled, reveals that data were altered so as to prevent a recent decline in temperature from showing in the record. In fact, there has been no statistically significant “global warming” for 15 years – and there has been rapid and significant cooling for nine years.

Worse, these arrogant fraudsters – for fraudsters are what we now know them to be – have refused, for years and years and years, to reveal their data and their computer program listings.

Now we know why: As a revealing 15,000-line document from the computer division at the Climate Research Unit shows, the programs and data are a hopeless, tangled mess. In effect, the global temperature trends have simply been made up.

Unfortunately, the British researchers have been acting closely in league with their U.S. counterparts who compile the other terrestrial temperature dataset – the GISS/NCDC dataset. That dataset too contains numerous biases intended artificially to inflate the natural warming of the 20th century.

Finally, these huckstering snake-oil salesmen and “global warming” profiteers – for that is what they are – have written to each other encouraging the destruction of data that had been lawfully requested under the Freedom of Information Act in the UK by scientists who wanted to check whether their global temperature record had been properly compiled.

And that procurement of data destruction, as they are about to find out to their cost, is a criminal offense. They are not merely bad scientists – they are crooks. And crooks who have perpetrated their crimes at the expense of British and U.S. taxpayers.

I am angry, and so should you be.

What have the mainstream news media said about the Climategate affair? Remarkably little . The few who have brought themselves to comment, through gritted teeth, have said that all of this is a storm in a teacup, and that their friends in the University of East Anglia and elsewhere in the climatological community are good people, really.

No, they’re not. They’re criminals. With Professor Fred Singer, who founded the U.S. Satellite Weather Service, I have reported them to the UK’s Information Commissioner, with a request that he investigate their offenses and, if thought fit, prosecute.

But I won’t be holding my breath: In the police state that Britain has now sadly become, with supine news media largely owned and controlled by the government, the establishment tends to look after its own.

At our expense, and at the expense of the truth.
