On The Tucker Carlson Show, It’s Whine, Whine, Whine About Harvey Weinstein

Business, Conservatism, IMMIGRATION, Media, Nationhood, Republicans

Non-stop coverage of corporate corruption is now the standard fare on Tucker Carlson’s show.

The Fox News host used to, courageously, tackle the national existential questions of immigration and the future of America as we know it, once it is entirely swamped by an imported Democratic constituency. Mr. Carlson now hardly does so any longer (or, perhaps I don’t listen long enough).

Today, October 23, 2019, there was the usual, daily whine, whine, whine about Harvey Weinstein and the MSNBC cover-up. Like I care.

Then it was on to some anon crook who got rewarded mightily by someone despite having run a Ponzi scheme. How unusual and news worthy is that in America? Never happens, right? Of course

The country is crumbling. Big national issues loom with terrible urgency. The borders are open, and, by the looks of it, no court will permit a president to EVER shut them. Yet Tucker Carlson
devotes 30 minutes of each show to whine, whine, whine about Weinstein and MSNBC.

The Tucker Carlson Show appears to have become one long Republican talking point.

By Blowing A Hole In Fox News, President Trump Does Deplorables A Tremendous Favor

Conservatism, Donald Trump, Environmentalism & Animal Rights, Journalism, Media, Nationalism, Republicans

With the exception of Tucker Carlson, who is a national treasure, Fox News has always been a mouthpiece of establishment Republicanism. This translates into the promotion of corporate cronyism and Koch-oriented views, a wishy-washy, shallow perspective on mass, unfettered immigration; capitulation to the forces of feminism and militarism; flippancy about nationalism, the natural world, as well as about all matters racial.

My own book of Trump, “The Trump Revolution: The Donald’s Creative Destruction Deconstructed” (June 29, 2016), elaborated on and praised The Process of Trump. It’s not so much what the president says, but how Trump, a political Samson, has pried open the American establishment for all to see, ugly entrails and all.

Fox News is establishment. Via The Hill:

Trump lashed out in a trio of tweets after a spokeswoman for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) appeared on “America’s Newsroom.” The president cited her interview; the employment of former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile; Juan Williams, who is also a columnist for The Hill; and anchor Shepard Smith to claim the network is biased against him.

“Just watched @FoxNews heavily promoting the Democrats through their DNC Communications Director, spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor, @SandraSmithFox. Terrible considering that Fox couldn’t even land a debate, the Dems give them NOTHING!” Trump tweeted.

Trump blasted the network as “HOPELESS & CLUELESS” for hiring Brazile, Williams and Smith, each of whom have criticized the president at various times.

“They should go all the way LEFT and I will still find a way to Win — That’s what I do, Win. Too Bad!” Trump continued. “I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New
@FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!”

Larry Elder Shares Mercer Article On Intra-Racial Reparations

Celebrity, Conservatism, Ilana Mercer, Justice, Race, South-Africa

Larry Elder, a great American, has shared with his many followers my Unz Review column, “How About Intra-Racial Reparations in South Africa?”

The excerpt Mr. Elder chose from “How About Intra-Racial Reparations in South Africa?” is:

“…white South Africans are told to accept their obligation to give up ancestral lands they are alleged to have stolen. Should not the relatives of cannibals who gobbled up their black brethren be held to the same standards?”—ilana mercer

This is quite nice, too.

But “she” is not a public person. Glad to assist the queen bee, aka President Ann Coulter, behind the scenes, as she rescues the country.

UPDATE (10/22/019): Has Tucker Gone Soft On Immigration, Which Is A True Existential Issue?

Conservatism, IMMIGRATION, Media, Nationhood, Political Correctness

Has Tucker Carlson gotten The Talk from the bosses at Fox News? By The Talk I mean the injunction against discussing the national question: mass immigration and the survival of the majority that dare not speak its name.

The show today, 6/11/019, was vanilla—Tucker’s correspondent decamped to the the Dominican Republic, to check out the safety of the minibars, instead of to the southwest to check out America’s wide-open border.

Tucker then interviewed a legal immigrant with permissible views on immigration—legal good; illegal bad.

Tucker oozed praise for said legal immigrant with permissible views. (Which were not exhaustive, because Harvard’s George Borjas showed that immigration in its totality has become an economic drain, not only illegal immigration.)

And, a short time back, on the day President Trump declared we hunger for many more “geniuses” in this country (ask the IEEE how many American engineers are unemployed)—the 2nd item on the Tucker Carlson Show was the latest SAT swindle, as if the affirmative-action swindle that is college admission is anything new.

Immigration experts in-the-know, like the Federation for American Immigration Reform, understand that unfettered legal immigration, even more so than the illegal torrents—is what has transformed the country beyond the tipping point. (Read “Understanding Chain Migration.”)

By the way, Tucker and Dana Perino smirked about the overuse of the existential adjective. (The word “narrative” is way worse.) Existential is a nice adjective when used sparingly and judicially.

If anything is an is an existential issue it’s immigration, both kinds, but especially the legal kind. It’s the defining issue of our time.  That’s why, once-upon-a-time, a president even ran on the immigration platform.
