No Wonder They Erupt: Muslims Taught America Is Racist, Islamophobic

Mohammed A. Malik is certainly milking his situation for what it’s worth. How laudable that Malik, an acquaintance of Orlando mass murderer Omar Mateen, who worshiped at the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce, did his due diligence and reported Mateen to the FBI. (It’s not Malki’s fault the FBI is guilty of dereliction.)

Before Mateen, Malik also volunteered information about another member of his mosque, “Moner Mohammad Abu-Salha,” who “was 22 when he became the first American-born suicide bomber, driving a truck full of explosives into a government office in Syria.”

But then Malik goes and spoils it all by depicting his dutiful conduct as the norm in the cloistered Muslim community, by pretending his faith is without problems, and seconding the murderous Mateen’s view of America as racist and hateful:

Omar did have a dark outlook on life. Partly, he was upset at what he saw as racism in the United States – against Muslims and others. When he worked as a security guard at the St. Lucie County Courthouse, he told me visitors often made nasty or bigoted remarks to him about Islam. He overheard people saying ugly things about African Americans, too. Since Sept. 11, I’ve thought the only way to answer Islamophobia was to be polite and kind; the best way to counter all the negativity people were seeing on TV about Islam was by showing them the opposite. I urged Omar to volunteer and help people in need – Muslim or otherwise (charity is a pillar of Islam). He agreed, but was always very worked up about this injustice.

Why do you suppose second-generation Muslims are more bitter and twisted than the first generation to arrive in the US, a land of milk-and-honey compared to the crap countries whence they come?

I have a good idea. They are acculturated to militant multiculturalism and identity politics by a liberal establishment.

Why Likely More Muslims Than Reported Favor Sharia

“51% of U.S. Muslims want Sharia; 60% of young Muslims are more loyal to Islam than to U.S.,” reports Robert Spencer. I have a hunch the numbers or percentages of sharia sympathizers could be higher. You’ll get my drift if I phrase the findings differently:

Fifty to 60 percent of the Muslims in America are not sophisticated enough to know how to lie in a survey. Survey methodology is open to biases that can distort the results. The more intelligent or cunning of the individuals sampled would be capable of anticipating the “right” answer in this survey and giving it. The right answer is “No, I don’t want Sharia; I love American democracy.” The least intelligent of the population sampled would confess to the truth.

On the other hand, other variables may factor in to mitigate against my assumption. These are feeling of impunity and shamelessness in the West that you can say anything you like.

“Top officials representing the Muslim establishment” who still answer in the affirmative are smart and experienced enough in the ways of the West to know they can be as brazen as they like. They didn’t get to being “top officials” without Muslim moxie; without knowing they can say anything and still maintain the strategic upper hand.

Tell me where I’m wrong.

“Left-liberalism’s Homo-Eroticism” is this week’s column. It’s now on The Unz Review, where you’ll find my weekly column. (After 15 years, I am no longer with WND.) An excerpt:

A Norwegian male was raped by a Somali asylum seeker. The last term—Somali asylum seeker—is something of a contradiction like the first (Norwegian man). The asylum-seeker honorific is given to practically anyone from the Dark Continent or the Middle-East who washes up on Continental Europe’s shores.

The politician, Karsten Nordal Hauken, who says he’s heterosexual, went public with details of his awful ordeal. “I was raped by a Somalian asylum seeker,” he wrote in a Norwegian newspaper. “My life fell into ruin.”

But it was Nordal Hauken, not his assailant, who proceeded to assault sensibilities with a confession that rivals the crime for reprehensibility. Hyperbole? I don’t think so.

As Hauken, a self-described left-wing feminist, tells it, he has been wracked by guilt because one night of passion has caused his Somali assailant to be returned to sender. After resting up in a Norwegian prison, the rapist is to be deported to Somalia. Hauken laments being overcome by “a strong feeling of guilt and responsibility. I was the reason that he would not be in Norway anymore … .”

And: “I see [the Somali] mostly like a product of an unfair world, a product of an upbringing marked by war and despair.” (This liberal peppers his writing with lots of “likes,” “millennial teen-talk,” as Patrick Buchanan termed these linguistic deformations.) …
