What The Crap Country Of Britain Did To Activist Tommy Robinson For The Crime Of … Speech

Britain, Criminal Injustice, Free Speech, Individual Rights, Islam, Law

The country from which the American Constitution makers got their inspiration is now a crap country. For reporting news—speaking, nothing more—Britain’s anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson was imprisoned in a jail with the largest Muslim population and kept in solitary confinement for 2 months.

He went to prison in a supposedly free country for expressing unpopular opinions in public and then purposefully placed in predicaments that almost got this young man killed: That’s England.

Due process? There was none. But there was a mosque in his prison.

Media? The legal profession? All formed a conga-line to attack Tommy Robinson.

Tommy’s fight is ongoing: “Tommy Robinson contempt of court hearing over Facebook video delayed.”

The latest in the annals of the crap country of Britain: “Devout Catholic ‘who used wrong pronoun to describe transgender girl’ to be interviewed by police.

UPDATED (3/14): Tucker Suggests That POTUS Has Not YET Delivered On Equality And Freedom For Deplorables

Conservatism, Donald Trump, Elections, Free Speech, Individual Rights, Justice, Law, Republicans, Technology

Will his Republican viewers punish Tucker Carlson for his brutal, journalistic honesty, rather unusual on Fox News?

The remarkable Tucker suggested that POTUS has done precious little to stop the intimidation, firing, hounding, de-platforming, doxing, and marginalizing of those who do not follow the herd.

(I was shadow-banned by Twitter. I think I still am, as my hashtags go nowhere, mostly. Nobody stood up for me …)

Tucker Carlson asked Trump voters Wednesday to assess whether or not they feel more confident to express their beliefs since the president was elected.

Carlson said that whether or not President Trump is able to build a wall or effect infrastructure legislation, how the president handles the attempted suppression of free speech may be more important.

He said that conventionally conservative beliefs in the years leading up to Trump’s election are now described as “terrorism,” while actual terror by the left seems to go unnoticed.

Among other examples, he noted a former community college professor who in 2017 allegedly hit Trump supporters with a bike lock during a “free the speech” rally.

Charges were dropped against the professor, Eric Clanton, although he was initially charged with a felony.

Carlson then asked viewers to imagine how former President Barack Obama would have responded if similar incidents happened to his voters while he was in office.

Spicer Blasts Dems: If We Called Wall the ‘Schumer Border Security Bill’ They’d Pass It

“You think Obama would have done something about that? Hell yes. … You would never get away with threatening an Obama voter for supporting Obama,” he said.

He said that society is becoming “less free,” something the current administration should fight back against.

“Fighting for speech is always the right fight,” Carlson stated.

Ahead of the 2020 election, Carlson added that Trump can exercise his executive powers to defend the Bill of Rights.

He said that if Trump can credibly say in two years that he fought to make sure all Americans are treated equally under the law, he’ll be remembered as a “genuinely great president.”

SEE: “Tucker: Trump Will Be Remembered as ‘Genuinely Great’ If He Fights for Free Speech.”

On the Unz Review, Fred Reed, long since ousted from establishment conservatism, independently (and less diplomatically) seconds Tucker’s thinking:

Curiously, despite the seething antipathy, Trump hasn’t done much that would not have been expected from any Republican. He engineered large tax breaks for the rich, reversed environmental regulations to benefit corporations, and growled about immigration while doing little. He is firmly in Israeli pockets, as any Republican would be. He appointed Bret Kavanaugh, a mildly conservative judge, to the Mini-Legislature of the Nine Cadavers. Whoopee do.

UPDATED (10/10/018): So Far, Most Land Grabbed In South Africa Lies Uncultivated

Africa, Communism, GUNS, Individual Rights, Private Property, Socialism, South-Africa

Seventy percent of the land lies fallow—that is land acquired by the ANC (the African National Congress) from whites, on a “willing buyer, willing seller” basis, to give to blacks.

This, the Economist confirms (Aug 23rd 2018), while advising on how to “improve” the process of handing over large-scale commercial farms that feed the nation, to subsistence farmers who can barely feed themselves.

After all, these land recipients are bad farmers only “because new black farmers receive [so] little help.”

UPDATED V (2/27019): A Pair Of Motor-Mouth Faux Conservatives: Explaining What Makes Ben Shapiro & Meghan McCain ‘Crass Pragmatists’

Foreign Policy, Individual Rights, Iraq, John McCain, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Neoconservatism

On WND.com, the new column is “A Pair of Motor-Mouth Faux Conservatives.” On the Unz Review, it’s “What Makes Ben Shapiro & Meghan McCain Crass Pragmatists.”

An excerpt:

Ben Shapiro is an anti-Trumper, who continues to assert baselessly that “the future of the Republican party is anti-Trump.”

Fox News, generally pro-POTUS, persists in exposing Deplorables to Shapiro’s twitter travails and spats with a left that, in turn, doesn’t know left from right—for Ben is no rightist; he’s a neoconservative media-pleaser.

In this farcical tradition, Ben was asked to comment on the election of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, whom Rush Limbaugh—he knows a thing or two—calls the female Barack Obama.

Since winning the Democratic primary in New York’s 14th congressional district, Cortez, a hard-core socialist, has been the toast of the town.

True to type, Shapiro failed to come up with one principled argument against Cortez’ socialism. All that came through was:

“It doesn’t work.” Socialism doesn’t work.

Not a word did wonder boy utter about the very crux of the matter. The rights-violating underpinnings of socialism is what makes socialism and its attendant political platform both an economic wrecking ball and plain wicked.

Another popular fount of conservative philosophy is Meghan McCain. She’s as conservative as her father, John McCain, from whom she got a dynastic leg-up in the menagerie of morons that is mainstream media.

On “The View,” a very vulgar program, Meghan made a similar non-case to the one mouthed by motor-mouth Shapiro:

“Name one country that socialism has ever worked” (sic) she blurted. (Translated: “Name a country where socialism has worked.”)

In her defense, we should say that everyone knows Meghan is no Michael Oakeshott. The problem being that Ben is considered the very embodiment of Russell Kirk, a classical conservative, and the intellectual father of American conservatism, may it rest in peace. …

… READ THE REST.  On WND.com, the new column is “A Pair of Motor-Mouth Faux Conservatives.” On the Unz Review, it’s “What Makes Ben Shapiro & Meghan McCain Crass Pragmatists?”

Whatever floats your boat.

UPDATE: In “The historical revisionists,” Vox Day upbraids “Ben Shapiro for trying to speech police Pat Buchanan for telling the truth about American history.”

Also via Vox Day:

Because Shapiro is an evil little fraud. He’s terrified of debate with anyone who isn’t a left-wing halfwit. He’s a midwit, a gatekeeper, and a media construct who has been relentlessly pushed on American conservatives since he was in junior high. Any Christian or conservative who considers himself a Shapiro fan is a naive fool who has been taken in by the propaganda program. The same thing goes for Jordan Peterson.

These heavily promoted wormtongues do not speak the truth, they do not believe what their fans think they believe, and their objectives are to protect evil by distracting and confusing those who would otherwise stand against it. William F. Buckley. Glenn Beck. Ben Shapiro. Jordan Peterson…. when are conservatives going to stop falling for these obvious frauds?

UPDATE I (7/30): Fox News’ “The Story” discusses socialism. The debate is purely pragmatic (cost analysis); no mention of principles, namely the infraction of individual rights involved.
