Where’s The Evidence?

Homeland Security, Media, Middle East, Terrorism

A plot to bomb an airliner was recently broken up. So America’s reporters all tell us.

Unanswered are some of the questions—without which there is no legitimate news story—that every journalistic lead should address: Who? Where? What? How?

It is apparent, however, that we don’t need to know who planned a “plot to bomb an airliner.” We don’t need to know where the “plot” was hatched, or what explosive device was seized, and how.

All we need to concern our big fat heads with is that “U.S. and other intelligence agencies” vouched for the information. Also fool-proof is that “U.S. Rep. Peter King, Republican and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee,” would never lie to us. Nor would ““a senior administration official.”

CNN’s Alpha Female Anderson Cooper: Now he always keeps them honest, doesn’t he?! The eternally furrowed brow alone speaks to Cooper’s journalistic bona fides. That guy would know entrapment if he encountered it.

Besides, don’t be such a drag. The guilty party, Fahd al Quso, is already dead of a drone attack. That’s your proof right there. You know someone is culpable of terrorism when and if he dies by drone. Dah.

On my own uneventful airport experience last week, I was spared the rogering (WND editor Ron Strom recommended loose clothing. Maybe it worked). But I did see a tall, fit, good looking black TSA worker, working-over a little old man (80, perhaps). It looked like the agent was removing the hunched geriatric’s colostomy bag. It took him forever.

You never know…

UPDATE II: Racial Rogering?

Celebrity, Homeland Security, Race, Racism, Terrorism

Amassed is a critical mass of images in which TSA workers, very often members of a protected species (a minority), are feeling up and humiliating white Americans. My naive, liberal-minded readers insist that absolutely no racial animus is involved in the ongoing rogering at the nation’s airports. Yet not one of these readers has risen to the challenge. And it is this:

Send on footage of TSA agents [black or white] frisking black sisters, black tots, and elderly and crippled black old ladies. We understand probabilities. Blacks, at 12 percent of the population, represent a smaller subset of travelers than whites. But nobody has shown me that, when they travel, blacks too are subjected to the same violative searches by the many brothers and sister of the TSA as are whites.

The latest famous invertebrate to subject himself to this ritual is actor George Clooney.

MINORITY MOLESTER. Parents deliver a gorgeous little girl into the arms of another “minority” molester, who chooses to touch the child inappropriately. The parents look on—and are interviewed about it—instead of walking off. Where is Bill O’Reilly on “The Children”? The news anchor, idiot that she is, mouths that the TSA is following protocol, doing what she must. But this molester has a choice. She does not have to choose this tiny little child as her plaything.

UPDATE I: Weeping four-year-old girl accused of carrying a GUN by TSA officers after she hugged her grandmother while passing through security.

UPDATE II: “Family Misses Flight After TSA Gives Pat-Down To Girl With Cerebral Palsy.”.

As a mother—as a human being with a heart—it is particularly hard seeing children subjected to the cruelty of strangers. Watching footage of the kids down whose miniature trousers TSA goons have been reaching is heartbreaking.

As I advised in ‘It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp,’ “Footage of the victims is everywhere, but the agents—the stars in these horror films—remain nameless and faceless. Name, shame, and dissociate from them.”

Minorites Against the Majority?

Government, Homeland Security, Racism, Terrorism, The State

It’s impossible to prove—more so because there is no will to prove it—but it’s hard not to view this sort of TSA pat-down, in this case, of a toddler in a cast (via LRC.COM), as devoid of the racial aspect. Racial profiling.

As was observed in “Congress: Call Off Your TSA Attack Dogs!”, “The TSA workforce manning crucial sections of the air terminals reflects the federal government’s legislated preference for minorities. Each one of these workers seems singularly intent on exacting revenge upon his or her perceived oppressors.”

In the TSA grope-a-thone, a preponderance of manifestly angry minorities face off against the submissive majority.

Can anybody find footage of TSA agents frisking black tots, or elderly and crippled black old ladies?

UPDATE II: ‘Absolute Invulnerability for America Means Absolute Vulnerability For Others’

Foreign Policy, Homeland Security, Middle East, Propaganda, Republicans, Russia, Terrorism

Truth is truth no matter who propounds it (and why, pray tell, am I forced to repeat this no-brainer year-in and year-out?). The next statement is immutably true—even profound—although Americans will first look at the man who uttered it, and will denounce his wise words, given that he is not a member of the DC duopoly and the comitatus that props these Demopublicans up (i.e., the “the sprawling apparatus … that encompasses not only the emperor’s household and its personnel … but also the ministries of government, the lawyers, the diplomats, the adjutants, the messengers, the interpreters, the intellectuals”).

Via Eurasia Review:

“’The Americans are obsessed with the idea of ensuring their absolute invulnerability – a thing, I would point out, that is utopian and achievable neither from a technological nor a geopolitical standpoint.
And herein lies the problem. Absolute invulnerability for one means absolute vulnerability for all the others. It is impossible to agree with this perspective.’
Addressing the unrest in the Arab world, Putin said Russia would not permit a ‘Libyan scenario’ to take place in Syria, where he said Moscow wanted to see an immediate halt in violence and a national dialogue to resolve the crisis.
He defended the decision by Russia and China to veto a resolution earlier this month pushed by Washington and its European and Arab allies that Moscow said would have opened the door to foreign military intervention in Syria.
Russia in particular faced blistering criticism that ‘bordered on hysterical’ from Western countries for its decision, Putin said, adding that Moscow strongly hoped the United States and others would not resort to force in Syria without UN approval.
Referring more widely to the Arab Spring, Putin said that efforts backed by the United States and the West to bring about ‘democracy with the help of violent methods’ were unpredictable and often led to precisely the opposite result.

UPDATE I (Feb. 28): Finally, China stands up to the ludicrous Hildebeest:

“The United States’ motive in parading as a ‘protector’ of the Arab peoples is not difficult to imagine,” it said in a commentary. “The problem is, what moral basis does it have for this patronising and egotistical super-arrogance and self-confidence?”
“Even now, violence continues unabated in Iraq and ordinary people enjoy no security. This alone is enough for us to draw a huge question mark over the sincerity and efficacy of US policy,” it added.

UPDATE II (March 4): “Putin [has] said the main problem is that the United States wants ‘to acquire complete invulnerability’ through missile defense. He also mentioned Washington’s refusal to provide written guarantees that the system will never be aimed at Russian territory.” [RT]
