What Rep. Steve King’s ‘Racist’ Statements Teach

Multiculturalism, Race, South-Africa, The West

“What Rep. Steve King’s ‘Racist’ Statements Teach” is the current column, now on The Daily Caller. An excerpt:

Rep. Steve King walked back his remarks with ease. King had told Iowa radio host Jan Mickelson that “we can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.” The Republican congressman quickly reframed the comments. It was not race he was alluding to, but “our stock, our country, our culture, our civilization.” Those sound like proxies for race.

Nice try, congressman.

More instructive than what Rep. King said or meant to say are the lessons about what we’re not supposed to say.

We dare not suggest that a civilization created by a particular people with a particular religious and racial profile, may well perish once those people are replaced or have engineered their own replacement.

America’s historical majority may not entertain or express a natural affinity for its own. A connection to kith, kin and culture, when expressed by whites, is considered inauthentic, xenophobic, and certainly racist.

In other words, there’s a class of people for whom no identity is permitted. They’re the people of Europe and the Anglo-sphere: the English, the Americans, the Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders. The unspoken rule is that only non-Occidentals be allowed to express “civilizational consciousness,” Samuel P. Huntington’s synonym for “our stock, our country, our culture, our civilization.”

Conversely, blacks, browns and all the other, more exotic, more sympathetic peoples of the world are encouraged to strut their civilizational consciousness.

Africa, the Middle East, Near East, Far East: The people of these regions want to come and lay claim to countries built by the supremely kind, sanctimonious, gullible do-gooders of the West. Yet despite The West’s generosity to The Rest, whites are the only people to be shamed, ostracized, threatened and maligned if they dare hearken back to their forefathers, or cling to the beliefs, faith and folklore of their founding fathers.

Another thing: All peoples aside whites are allowed to claim and keep their corner under the sun. Dare to suggest that China, India, Saudi-Arabia, Yemen, Japan, or South-Korea open the floodgates to aliens who’ll disrupt the ancient rhythm of these societies—and you’ll get an earful. Yet this is what Anglo-Americans and Europeans are cheerily called on to do by a left-liberal, progressive ruling class.

To her governing elites, America is not a nation but a notion, as Patrick J. Buchanan put it. To someone like House Speaker Paul Ryan, who is admired by Democratic and Republican progressives alike, America is a community of disparate people coalescing around an abstract, highly manipulable, state-sanctioned ideology. …

Travel Ban II Overturn: When Legal Reasoning Is Lost

Justice, Law, Reason, Religion, The Courts, The West

Alan Dershowitz doesn’t grasp the extent to which traditional western legal reasoning has broken down, or is being dismantled, in American courts. Likewise, conservatives rabbit on about liberal judges. Replace them and respect for the Constitution will be restored.

But there’s much more to the fact that, “A federal district judge in Hawaii has just issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) blocking the key provisions of the President’s revised Executive order that pauses the refugee program and admittance of foreign nationals from 6 terrorist hotbeds (Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen) until thorough vetting can be put in place.” (Via ACLJ. RELATED: “ACLJ Goes to Court, Files 2 More Briefs Defending Revised National Security Executive Order.”)

You have a court that is seeking to establish a precedent, whereby taking “statements made during a political campaign” are used to “strike down a faithfully constitutional executive order,” as Dershowitz put it. (“Dershowitz: Why the Supreme Court will uphold Trump’s travel ban.”)

To CNN, Dershowitz said this:

… here you have a judge who is finding statements made during a campaign, if you can take the statements into account, Trump loses if the statements are devastating. But if the court rules that you can’t take those statements in account and you have to look only at the text of the order, then Trump wins because the court is dead wrong when it says it’s unconstitutional if it includes six countries all of which are 90 percent Muslim. That’s perfectly constitutional because that’s what Obama did. So, what the court rules if Obama does it, it’s constitutional, but if Trump does it, it’s unconstitutional because of what Trump said during the campaign. That is a fascinating constitutional issue.

WRONG. This legal brain storm is not fascinating; it’s frightening, because absent from it are certain fundamental givens of Western legal reasoning.

As Hawaii’s Trump travel ban ruling (full text) stands, the American Bill of Rights belongs to THE WORLD, and was written to enrich the American immigration-law industry and its clients the world-over.

Support Steve King. America Is A Western Civilization

America, Britain, History, Nationhood, Political Correctness, The West

It was not the monarchy of Buganda or tsarists Russia that inspired and sired America’s Founding Fathers, to create the freest, most prosperous country on earth. It was England, home of the Magna Carta, John Locke and the British Enlightenment. The American Founders were equipped with a particular faith, Christianity, and a specific set of ideas concerning the nature of human beings, their natural rights, in particular, their inalienable rights to life, liberty, and, yes, PRIVATE PROPERTY. These ideas were unique to Western Europe.

For suggesting as much, Steve King is being labeled and maligned (which Trump Nation should not tolerate). Via Time:

Geert Wilders “understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

In an interview Monday on CNN, King said he stood by his remarks. King said, “I meant exactly what I said,” and noted that he delivers the same message to countries in Europe.

“We need to get our birth rates up or Europe will be entirely transformed within a half a century or a little more,” King said.

Are Liberals Turned-On By Turning The Other (Gluteus Maximus) Cheek?

Feminism, Gender, Islam, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Multiculturalism, Sex, The West

In this column, “Are Liberals Turned-On By Turning The Other (Gluteus Maximus) Cheek?,” we revisit the curious case of the Norwegian politician, Karsten Nordal Hauken, “who … was raped by a Somalian asylum seeker.” Hauken has since come up with a penetrating observation about the ordeal: He might not have been raped after all, but simply subjected to “a cultural difference.”

A Norwegian male was raped by a Somali asylum seeker. The last term—Somali asylum seeker—is something of a contradiction like the first (Norwegian man). The asylum-seeker honorific is given to practically anyone from the Dark Continent or the Middle-East who washes up on Continental Europe’s shores.

The politician, Karsten Nordal Hauken, who says he’s heterosexual, went public with the details of his awful ordeal. “I was raped by a Somalian asylum seeker,” he wrote in a Norwegian newspaper. “My life fell into ruin.”

But it was Nordal Hauken, not his assailant, who proceeded to assault sensibilities with a confession that rivals the crime for reprehensibility. Hyperbole? I don’t think so.

As Hauken, a self-described left-wing feminist, tells it, he has been wracked by guilt because one night of passion has caused his Somali assailant to be returned to sender. After resting up in a Norwegian prison, the rapist is said to have been deported to Somalia. (I can find no evidence of said rapist’s whereabouts. Maybe he’s en route to the US?) Hauken laments being overcome by “a strong feeling of guilt and responsibility. I was the reason that he would not be in Norway anymore … .”
