UPDATED: It takes A Special Kind Of Stupid To Lose Moral High-Ground To Planned Parenthood

Conservatism, Federalism, Law, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, libertarianism, Morality, Republicans, Uncategorized

Progressives are evil, immoral; as clueless as the pope in their arrogant ignorance of the American political system and the role of government in the American federal scheme.

But one has to be a special kind of stupid to lose the moral high ground to the 500,000 dollars-a-year babe (Cecile Richards) and her congressional harpies, who plump for public funding for Planned Parenthood.

THAT Republicans certainly are. (I say this as a libertarian who doesn’t see how, in a free world, one can agitate for the arrest of a woman for what she does with her property: her body and all that’s in it. I do, however, see a clear and logical way to argue the outlaw of late-term abortion. The reasoning I’ll share in a new book.)

Progressives are gloating: “The GOP still has nothing to show for its anti-Planned Parenthood campaign.”

UPDATE: What I mean by outlawing” late-term abortion is arguing convincingly—well, almost convincingly, since it’s pretty hard—against the practice of late-term abortion based on libertarian reasoning. Libertarian law turns on private property rights and the non-aggression axiom. You cannot initiate aggression against a non-aggressor. To aggress against a woman for what she does to her body, however much you abhor the practice, flies in the face of libertarianism.

So the challenge is arguing for that aggression in the case of a late-term child. It’s almost impossible logically, but I think it can be done. Stay tuned. In the meantime, I’m interested in hearing from religious libertarians how they’d argue for outlawing abortion. Ron Paul is anti-abortion. Not sure it works in libertarian law. But please share. Don’t bother specifying that abortion should not be funded by the state. We all agree. In fact, this is the central silliness of the Repubs; they can’t explain to silly bimbos that to defund abortion is not to ban abortion.

The Left Beatifies Boehner, Perhaps Pope Francis Will, Too

Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Politics, Religion, Republicans, The State

His tenure as the speaker of the House John Boehner (Republican) spent greasing the skids for the policies of Barack Obama (Democrat). And he capped a career of crying by sobbing to the sounds of Pope Francis’s trendy, pop philosophies (the intellectual equivalent is to be found in a Chinese fortune-cookie wrapper).

But to listen to the Left’s coverage of Boehner’s resignation—MSNBC and CNN—the man was a saint thwarted by right-wing crazies.

Before he leaves the country, the sooner the better, Pope Francis might want to beatify Boehner for promoting statism and crying while he, the pope, preached the same.

Boehner will likely head off to K Street to lobby and loot some more.

Pukes both.

By the way, aren’t you sick and tired of the, “I’m a poor boy, the son of an Ohio barkeeper” (Boehner), or a “Cuban immigrant,” or the first kid in family to go to school (Huckabee)?

Shut the f-ck up already with the sob-cum-inspirational stories.

For all your papal needs:

Capitalism Is Freedom, Mr. Pope, Communism Is Slavery & Death

Capitalism, Christianity, Communism, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Morality, Religion

The Left has vanquished America—the gaseous media strumpets and their papal “experts” certainly give that impression, in their coverage of the arrival of Pope Francis. One of these venal types on CNN has just ventured that Pope John Paul criticized capitalism as much as he did communism, therefor justifying Pope Francis’ folly.

Sacrilegious nonsense.

Capitalism is the moral right to make a living freely and voluntarily, absent coercion, and by relying on the rule of law and the sanctity of private property, the latter beginning with individual self-ownership:

This philosophical, moral wonder has lifted millions out of poverty.

Now capitalism is being juxtaposed to a system chosen by leading lights like Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong and Pol Pot, to best justify the centrally planned slaughter of over 100 million people the world over and the enslaving of many more.

If this is not yet more proof that the Left has vanquished America, I don’t know what is.

How disgusting are your lawmakers? Read about the carnival.

Donald Trump Speaks Our Language

“Donald Trump Speaks Our Language” is the current column, now on The Unz Review, America’s smartest webzine. An excerpt:

WHEN IN THE US, SPEAK ENGLISH. Donald Trump’s retort to Jeb Bush’s rattling off in Spanish on the campaign trail conjures an old joke told in Israel of my youth. It was aimed at the ultra-orthodox Jew who dresses weirdly and won’t speak Hebrew. Here goes:

Walking down the street is a Sabra (a Jew born in Israel), clad in the pioneer’s outfit of shorts and a Tembel Hat. (“Tembel” is Hebrew for silly. The image below illustrates how not even a beautiful Israeli girl can dignify a hat so useless as to provide no protection from the merciless sun.)

From across the street, in Yiddish—the language of the diaspora—an ultra-orthodox Jew clad in black garb shouts obscenities at the Sabra. The minuscule ultra-orthodox community believes that speaking Hebrew before Messiah arrives is heretic and will delay the coming of Messiah (also known as the longest coming in history). For Messiah to materialize, the Jew must remain weak, dispossessed and persecuted—a sickly spirit without a corporeal country to call his own.

The Israeli shouts back, “Speak Hebrew, goy!” Goy meaning non-Jew.

Trump took a jab at Jeb for using Spanish to dismiss the mogul’s conservative credentials. Via CNN:

“‘I like Jeb,’ Trump told Breitbart News. ‘He’s a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States.'”

The Trumpian reference was to the former Florida governor’s comments to reporters … about Trump’s policies. “‘El hombre no es conservador,’ Bush said, which translates to, ‘This man is not a conservative.'”

Not only was Trump’s visceral retort in defense of English righteous; it was also culturally conservative in the best of ways. …
