UPDATE II: Clueless in South Africa With Mrs. Obama (Apartheid in Black & White)

The following is excerpted from “Clueless in South Africa With Mrs. Obama”:

First Lady Michelle Obama is touring this writer’s birthplace, South Africa. “[Nelson] Mandela’s legacy in the battle for South African democracy,” wrote one rapt reporter, who followed the FLOTUS around Johannesburg, “defines much of Obama’s visit.” It was only natural that “her next stop” would be “the Apartheid Museum, which chronicles the rise and fall of white rule.”

Apartheid was a contemptible caste system. Forgotten, however, in the recriminations over apartheid are the facts as they are documented in my just-released book, “Into the Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons For America From Post-Apartheid South Africa.”

…Had the sainted Mandela ascended to power in the 1960s instead of languishing on Robben Island and in Pollsmoor Prison [Mrs. Obama’s destinations in Cape Town], he would have nationalized the South African economy and banned private enterprise.” That’s what the ANC’s Charter called for in 1955. That’s what South Africa’s black-ruled neighbors to the north did.

…While black Africa and East Europe circled the drain due to communism, South Africa was experiencing an economic explosion, courtesy of the National Party’s relatively conservative economics. An oasis in the African desert, South Africa’s then gold-backed economy grew at an annual rate of six percent during the 1960s. …

More facts the Museum of Apartheid, graced by Mrs. Obama and the first daughters, will not be releasing, but I will, in “Clueless in South Africa With Mrs. Obama.”

AND IN “Into the Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons for America from Post-Apartheid South Africa.”

Hard-copies are available both from Amazon and from the Publisher.

UPDATE I: The online museum Mrs. Obama will not have clicked to visit: Afrikaner Genocide Museum.

My book, “Into the Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons for America from Post-Apartheid South Africa,” is dedicated “To my Afrikaner brothers, betrayed.”

Will those Afrikaners stand up and support this effort on their behalf?

A note to the dessicated western academic who has no idea what living a precarious life is like: I generally don’t like to link to unauthenticated images. However, I document thousands of such grisly murders in my book. They are based on meticulously kept records, the sources for which are cited in the book. So what you see here is what’s in my book, only I appended names to each precious soul that departed in such agony.

UPDATE II (June 25): APARTHEID IN BLACK & WHITE. Derek: My book deals with the complexities of apartheid. Once you read it, your take on this aspect of my analysis would be especially edifying to Amazon review readers. It’s a complex topic and the book addresses this complexity (from the classical liberal perspective). A reader who has an interest in a particular aspect of the topic—in Derek’s case apartheid—is encouraged to read the book with a view to reviewing, on Amazon, how I dealt with a particular aspect of interest.

Don’t send reviews to me; post them to Amazon. Inside chatter does nothing to further debate or understanding.

    Good job! Very well written!

You’ve described the results of social engineering at its finest. Sometimes it’s too much of what appears as a good thing.

I used to think people like M.O. were devious and sneaky with their posturing about things and people and causes such as Mandela and the ANC. Now I think some of them are actually dumb enough to actually believe what they say.

Another thought. I just viewed the images from the Afrikaner Genocide Museum. I have seen this type of thing before on other web sites but they never fail to move me. Few, if any, of the victims appear to be able bodied but rather old, weak or infants, etc. Think of the life they are living. No security. No options. No justice. All they can do is hope they pass under the radar of the barbarians who control their lives. I’m not the man I once was. Now old and fat with bad knees. But I am well armed, well trained and not willing to be a victim. How long will Americans be allowed to protect themselves in this way? Will Americans have the will to resist when, inevitably some future government, maybe even the current one, gets on line with the UN and decides we need to be disarmed for our own safety. Don’t think it can’t happen here because it can. Think about it.

Apartheid was indeed a contemptible system, and even now some repulsive racial slurs are being said on FB (for some reason they’ve been barely rebuked). [I reported them as spam already. I don’t know why no one does anything] But we, as humans are won’t to do, swerved too far to the other side to repair matters. Kind of like the switch we made from patriarchy to the anti-father system of feminism we have now; and the switch from shaming certain sexual deeds to parading them in front of all. A fine mess we’ve made, and it doesn’t even compare to the horrors in Africa. I’m so glad you’ve revealed them extensively, Ilana.

If there is one positive trend in modern America it is the reversal of gun control and steady victory for the Second Amendment from the 90s onwards culminating in DC v Heller and McDonald v Chicago decisions in 2008 and 2009. Fear not James! Gun control is a dead parrot. It is infact so lost that Democrats have lost interest in the issue.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your “labour of love”!

From an Afrikaner-sister, desperate for someone to hear our cry.

[Thanks; Elritia; have you received your copy? Working together we may be able to force a callous world to grow a conscience.]

To Contemplationist: I hope you are right but I don’t think so. The left has always followed devious paths to the items of their agenda regardless of the wishes of the public or their defeats at the ballot box. It is imperative that they disarm us and it is imperative to the UN that we be disarmed. A disarmed America is crucial to their plans for world domination. There’s too much money and power at stake to leave us otherwise. Stay on target.

Contemplationist, just an FYI to not be so sure re your statement.

There is a UN movement re SMALL ARMS TREATY and if the U.S. goes along, well, don’t be surprised. Remember, FDR during the Great Depression…I don’t think anyone was prepared for him to confiscate privately-owned and held gold. And in reading CANNIBAL’S POT, you’ll note that Boers were restricted to shotguns. LOL vs M-16s.

Apartheid was a contemptible caste system

South Africa was a modern, first-world nation, at least in the white parts. They built aircraft and other high tech gizmos. The current American mine resistant vehicles are based upon 30 year old South African designs.

Would South Africa have become so developed without Apartheid?

  10. Willem Hollenbach

Ilana, I fully agree with you. It is extremely galling the way this bloody American woman prances around Soweto and the Apartheid museum and other areas in my country, not once even glancing at anything other than black faces, black schools etc, crying huge crocodile tears and being fawned upon by the black controlled media as if she was some sort of damned goddess. Probably at my taxpaying expense.

    Glad to see her go.
    Willem

To Willem Hollenbach: Sounds like you are describing a scene here in the United States.

Yes folks I get the ‘Stay Alert!’ attitude. I’m not saying go to sleep. However, the trend is clear. Sure, it can be reversed. Anything CAN happen. But as far as facts go, even lower courts are striking down gun laws everywhere. 49 states now allow concealed carry (granted: some like NJ might as well NOT allow it). Some states have FULL 2nd amendment protections – no permits required. It’s also the one issue where any devious talk is pounced upon by mainstream Republicans and the NRA is very strong – it held tough even in Clintonian times.
So, yes stay alert but allow yourselves to smile once in a while

Other thoughts on the situation. In Peoria gangs of black youths are harassing and rampaging nightly shouting “kill the Whites”. People are being threatened when they come to the doors of their homes. All the authorities can offer is to tell people to stay in their homes. I don’t know about you but if I feel led to go outside then I don’t want to be kept in by a horde of thugs. Of course in our current country thugs have the blessings of government and tax paying citizens are the enemy. Down on the mexican border people fear to leave their homes. Their property is being destroyed and trashed, their fences cut and their animals lost. Americans have been killed. Anybody who complains about this travesty is immediately labeled a racist and is disregarded. The government sides with foreigners against citizens on the border and with thugs such as the New Black Panther voting intimidation case in Philadelphia thanks to Eric Holder and Barack Obama. The United States is a big country and Americans have short memories. The fourth estate is locked into the left body and soul so they don’t repeat the outrages. We criticize the “lickspittle lackeys of the left” (Ilana Mercer’s term) for not reporting the outrages in South Africa when they won’t even report the outrages in California and Arizona. I realize that all of you regular readers have heard me warn of the South African anarchy coming to America but I think it’s starting to come to surface more and more. Be warned..
