NEW COLUMN IS, “Tucker Cancels GOP, So Should You: ‘Republicans Have Done Nothing To Defend YOU.’” It’s on WND.COMThe Unz Review, CNSNews, and The New American.

Excerpt:

In his June 20, 2020 J’accuse, Tucker Carlson, for all practical purposes, cancelled the Republican Party: “Property was looted,” he roared, “people were beaten and killed and Republicans joined the side doing the looting, beating and killing. President of the Heritage Foundation and think tanks on the right betrayed law enforcement and ordinary Americans, calling them racists, ignoring the damage done to their property and person.”

Jack Kerwick has been anatomizing just such failures and betrayals dished out by the ConOink establishment for over a decade, writing in January of 2021, of virus-related tyranny that,

“…the country bequeathed to us by the generation that, in the midst of a smallpox epidemic, fought and defeated the most powerful empire in the world in order to be a self-governing union of sovereign states—subjected itself to a nationwide internment.
The United State of America became the Interned States of America as the Constitution of the Old Republic was indefinitely revoked, the economy crushed, and ‘the little platoons’—as Burke referred to those buffers between the individual and the State, those forms of community constitutive of civil society and in the absence of which human flourishing would be impossible—were radically undermined. … And all of this occurred in a country with a Republican President, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Supreme Court dominated by Republican appointees, and a majority of whose state legislatures and governors are Republican.” [Emphasis added.]

As captivated as voters on the right may be by the promise of the primaries, they’d be wise to remember the nature of the Republican Racket—the duopoly or uniparty swindle, for that matter.

You’ve been here before. Elections in our country are a national bipolar mood disorder that sees our side, the right, swing from halcyon highs under the Stupid Party to nadir lows under the Evil Party, except that there never is long-term, real relief.

With a difference. Something huge happened in our country in the past few years. It is not hyperbole to say the republic has been lost. To paraphrase the great Naomi Wolf, we are at a civilizational crossroads, still living under emergency law, the Constitution suspended. We’ve adjusted to tyranny and no one is the wiser.

Certainly not any Republican.

Some of us have long held that the republic of blessed memory was lost ages ago. Others still hold out hope for a small “r” republican revival. Even the most Panglossian among us must acknowledge that a tipping point was reached during COVID.

THE DEMOCRATS have always set the terms of debate; Democrats stand tall for their core principles, as atrocious as these manifestly are.

Consider: How does the illiberal left deal with Republicans? They leverage against their political opponents the full force of the managerial, permanent state, which they’ve captured. They galvanize the DOJ (Department of Justice), the Security and the Surveillance State to destroy as many conservatives as possible. Rivulets of words like “treason” and “white supremacist” soon run through the Democrat-dominated media and through other intellectual means of production captured. Subpoenas are issued. Congressional hearings are hastily begun; impeachment proceedings set in motion. The criminal arm of the Democrat Party is marshaled in quick succession. These vampiric operatives—BLM, Antifa, demented distaff—are soon staking out, stalking and canceling conservatives making life intolerable. Simultaneously, and in addition to utterly demonizing their opposition, Democrats typically plug away at making the country ungovernable, lawless, diverse to the point of distrust.

Against the potency of the Democrats, Republicans offer only impotence. The GOP strives to fit in. The typical ConOinksters—the con artists formerly known as neoconservatives, as Establishment Republicans, as ConInc, or the “Big Con”—their existence consists in pacifying the left and deceiving the right.

Blunt is better: Republicans live like you would in a gay bathhouse: on their knees. At every turn, they apologize and expiate for their principles….

Republican Rep. T. Massie: ‘More Bureaucracy To Go After Domestic Terrorism Is Probably A Good Thing’

Argument, Conservatism, Constitution, COVID-19, Individual Rights, Race, Racism, Republicans, Terrorism, The State

‘We have a bill that’ll go after domestic terrorism, and that’s probably a good thing.’—Thomas Massie, Republican from Kentucky

Rep. Thomas Massie has found his voice on the still-extant Covid tyranny. Like all things Republican, it’s better than nothing, but nothing much at all.

The Kentucky Congressman … called for an amendment to be included in H.R. 350, a domestic terrorism bill, that would prevent the government from using funds to “monitor, analyze, investigate or prosecute” an American citizen on the bases of their refusal or opposition to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“The fact that moms are going to be targeted as domestic terrorists because they think their 5-year-old doesn’t need a freaking vaccine because they’ve looked at the data. They’ve seen that the flu presents more of a risk to their child than COVID does — any of the variants,” said Congressman Massie.

While the “Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act” did not initially include language regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, Massie is forcing the issue to add text that provides protections to parents who oppose vaccine mandates.

Such dissembling as that of Representative Massie is deceptive. For one, he is right. Covid-19 has no place in a bill on domestic terrorism. But neither does a Bill against domestic terrorism have a place in the repertoire of a Republican legislator who considers himself hip to the infringements on liberty that such State overreach portends. Yet Massie declared,

… More bureaucracy to go after domestic terrorism is probably a good thing.

Moreover, self-ownership such as that exercised by sovereign individuals, in a free country, means that each and everyone of us has the right to reject the Pharma-State’s hemlock, no matter the reasons, scientific or not. The right to refuse the jab is not reserved for moms and their toddlers, for whom Massie exclusively advocates. What a dumb argument.

RIP, GOP.

Nowhere is a rights-based argument being made [by Republicans], or an argument based on the right to question the safety of the vaccine. Nowhere are individual sovereignty and self-ownership mentioned.

Indeed, Republicans prattle about religious exemptions (state granted!) and natural-immunity based exemptions (state granted!)—but they have not the faintest urge to defend the natural, God-given right of self-ownership.

Enough then of the cheering for the ineffectual GOP and its front men and women, who arrive in the Idiocracy’s version of Rome, only to do nothing, decade after decade. Oh, yes, they turn in appearances on TV and before congressional committees; get lucrative book deals, and consolidate political and corporate power for a lifetime.

But as the West careens toward the Covid-centered anthill society, nobody identifies and defends the individual’s dominion over his body and his right to reject the Pharma-State’s Hemlock prescription for that body. As emphasized, Republicans’ case against Covid mandates indirectly capitulates to coercion.

UPDATED (Institutional Rot): Convene A Covid Court Or Tribunal To Conduct Post-Covid Denazification And Deal With CDC

Canada, Constitution, COVID-19, Criminal Injustice, Free Speech, Healthcare, Law

Fox News’ Martha MacCallum got only marginally steamed today at Robert Redfield, a former CDC director, according to whose euphemisms the CDC’s lies and lack of data-collection capability, priced at $7 billion per year, requires no more than a “strategic investment.”

Redfield, like the rest of the medicrats who run our lives and badmouth those of us who declined their hemlock (see “Self-Ownership And The Right To Reject The Pharma-State’s Hemlock“), use Orwellian Speak to finesse crimes against humanity.

Another typical sprouter of Orwellian speak is Dr. Nicole Saphier (and she is a dime-a-dozen), who never expressed objections to mass vaccination with an experimental substance: “CDC has done a ‘disservice’ to Americans” is all she can muster.

I’ll put it plainly—and all these people are complicit—the CDC was toying with the lives of millions upon millions of people by cornering them and compelling into taking a risky vaccine. The vaccines are unarguably risky simply by virtue of the record short time in which they were developed and foisted on the public absent proper, mandatory longitudinal safety studies and full consent. Where consent was obtained, it was done, now we know, by providing incomplete often slipshod quality data.

It’s simple.

A special Covid court—as in a tribunal—needs to be convened. Sitting in the dock should be public health officials, TV doctors and other Covid-orthodoxy enforcers. Punishment needs to be on the table. Call it post-Covid denazification.

Martha seemed confused as to how an American agency that receives $7 billion in funding a year is forced to rely on data from Israel, for lack of its own. REALLY? You need to ask? I’ve devoted many a post and a column to anatomizing aspects of what I call “institutional rot.” “Systemic institutional rot” is what this is.

Tangentially related news is that in Canada, Tamara Lich, “one of the lead organizers of the Canadian Freedom Convoy” protests against that degenerate son of 60 dogs Justine Trudeau’s Covid tyranny, is arrested and denied due process of law. Pat King, another Trucker hero, is arrested too, all for speech infractions—and for partaking in near-idyllically peaceful civil disobedience.
