Republican Rep. T. Massie: ‘More Bureaucracy To Go After Domestic Terrorism Is Probably A Good Thing’

‘We have a bill that’ll go after domestic terrorism, and that’s probably a good thing.’—Thomas Massie, Republican from Kentucky

Rep. Thomas Massie has found his voice on the still-extant Covid tyranny. Like all things Republican, it’s better than nothing, but nothing much at all.

The Kentucky Congressman … called for an amendment to be included in H.R. 350, a domestic terrorism bill, that would prevent the government from using funds to “monitor, analyze, investigate or prosecute” an American citizen on the bases of their refusal or opposition to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“The fact that moms are going to be targeted as domestic terrorists because they think their 5-year-old doesn’t need a freaking vaccine because they’ve looked at the data. They’ve seen that the flu presents more of a risk to their child than COVID does — any of the variants,” said Congressman Massie.

While the “Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act” did not initially include language regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, Massie is forcing the issue to add text that provides protections to parents who oppose vaccine mandates.

Such dissembling as that of Representative Massie is deceptive. For one, he is right. Covid-19 has no place in a bill on domestic terrorism. But neither does a Bill against domestic terrorism have a place in the repertoire of a Republican legislator who considers himself hip to the infringements on liberty that such State overreach portends. Yet Massie declared,

… More bureaucracy to go after domestic terrorism is probably a good thing.

Moreover, self-ownership such as that exercised by sovereign individuals, in a free country, means that each and everyone of us has the right to reject the Pharma-State’s hemlock, no matter the reasons, scientific or not. The right to refuse the jab is not reserved for moms and their toddlers, for whom Massie exclusively advocates. What a dumb argument.

RIP, GOP.

Nowhere is a rights-based argument being made [by Republicans], or an argument based on the right to question the safety of the vaccine. Nowhere are individual sovereignty and self-ownership mentioned.

Indeed, Republicans prattle about religious exemptions (state granted!) and natural-immunity based exemptions (state granted!)—but they have not the faintest urge to defend the natural, God-given right of self-ownership.

Enough then of the cheering for the ineffectual GOP and its front men and women, who arrive in the Idiocracy’s version of Rome, only to do nothing, decade after decade. Oh, yes, they turn in appearances on TV and before congressional committees; get lucrative book deals, and consolidate political and corporate power for a lifetime.

But as the West careens toward the Covid-centered anthill society, nobody identifies and defends the individual’s dominion over his body and his right to reject the Pharma-State’s Hemlock prescription for that body. As emphasized, Republicans’ case against Covid mandates indirectly capitulates to coercion.

H.R. 350, the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act was so far rejected by House Judiciary Committee Republicans.

The finding of American-installed WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) in Ukraine, near the Russian border, is certainly a reminder of the extent, the depth and the gravity of the American State’s lies about this conflict and its genesis. Put it this way: If Russia had American privileges—the right to invade sovereign countries while retaining its virtue—the biowarfare laboratories located in Ukraine near Russian borders would have served as a justification for war.
David and ilana abhor what is, on its face, a Russian war of aggression. However, knowing the history of the conflict leaves no room for doubt: The Russian Bear was poked, and poked and then some.

MUSK ODOR

Business, Canada, Conservatism, Technology, The State, Welfare

Just got an excitably worshipful note from a reader about Elon Musk (who is such an “individualist” that he is currently sulking about being ignored by Democrats).

You know him: The man who has littered the earth with Tesla and now seeks to further pollute space, via rocket producer SpaceX.

There’s the conservatives’ yen for celebrity, of course. But the short memory about—and fixation with—a man who made his fortune off a taxpayer-subsidized industry perplexes.

As for Musk’s “support” for the Canadian truckers: Judging from the overall monies the truckers received; Musk was either a non-player in freedom’s fight or mean in the extreme.

READ:  Like all members of the corporate arm of the Deep-State, Elon Musk, et al. is slippery.

NEW COLUMN, “Good Vs. Evil: Canada’s Truckers Battle Justine Trudeau For Us All,” is a “first-rate philippic, says “Musil Protege” (follow him on Twitter). Read the essay on WND, The Unz Review and Townhall.com, where it is slightly abridged for length (“Truck you, Trudeau.”) The piece has also featured on The New American, CNSNews and American Greatness.

Excerpt:

… Picture our heroes. On the one hand, you have working men and women, who already do the most dangerous of jobs, plainly often poorly clothed, trying to keep warm, as the Ottawa Gestapo steal their fuel jerricans and their fire wood. Yet wave the Maple Leaf Flag patriotically the truckers do, as their loathsome overlords level the worst possible pejoratives at them.

On our behalf, the merry band of truckers face a malevolent “alliance of government, social media companies and the mainstream media.” The malicious lies about the country-wide, freedom convoys just keep coming. To wit, not one reporter stateside had discharged his duty to tell the story of the protest. In Quebec, for example, the unvaccinated have been threatened with a fine. Even as Covid was on the wane, morphing from pandemic into mild, endemic illness—Premier Legault’s government saw fit to bar the unvaccinated, masks and all, from big-box stores like Walmart, Costco and Canadian Tire.

On the side of Gangland Government, you have a pompous, vainglorious, plodder press, and mean-minded media bad mouthing good people. And a cowardly, morally craven prime minister who initially ran from his official residence, rather than meet with a large swath of the Canadian people, whom he assiduously blackens as marginal, insufferable and unsavory.
Juxtapose truckers and families, the epitome of storybook goodness, with the charmed circle of that privileged ponce, Justine Trudeau. Words fail. In fact, my good friends at Junge Freiheit, a German weekly of excellence, had requested I write a 5,000-word piece about Justine. My reply:

“Trudeau is not worth 5,000 words—for how do you write so much about a nullity?” I’ve come up with just the right number of words for him. Here they are:

Trudeau is a dim dilettante, who inherited wealth, but no sense of noblesse oblige and none of his fabled father’s smarts and charisma. Just look at sonny boy’s mincing stride, sausaged as he is in designer suits. Observe the vain coif, the pasty, rapidly aging (from moral rot à la Dorian Gray) doughy face and hollow gaze, so like that of his mom, Margaret.

Justine was practically conceived and raised at the debauch Studio 54. In all his forced, affectatious attempts at gravitas, this dirigiste is now telling Canada’s salt of the earth, the truckers, to turn tail and return to life as his much-maligned second-class subjects.

A look at Trudeau’s demonic deeds and his vacant demeanor and one is reminded of the words of famed French novelist Jules Renard: “I don’t know if God exists, but it would be better for his reputation if he didn’t.”

Trudeau has inflicted horrifying material destruction and lasting moral damage. He has battered the truckers but not bettered them. It’s time for this dreck, this spawn of Studio 54, to go on home, for good. Good people want no truck with Trudeau. …

You are a brilliant writer. Your ‘not worth 5,000 words’ piece for your German friends is spot on. Full of masterful double-entendres and hints left between the lines that perhaps only Canadians of a certain age would get. But lots of meat there for anyone who wants to follow the breadcrumbs. Worth a follow for sure.
