Douglas Macgregor: Consent Of The Governed Has Turned Into Contempt For The Governed

Debt, Economy, Foreign Policy, IMMIGRATION, Military, War, Welfare

The people bathing in blood are in Kiev and Washington, not in Moscow ~ Douglas Macgregor

Why a candidate like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is so important—and why even RFK, Jr., may not be cunning and ruthless enough to the task ahead. The rest are just too stupid.

Colonel Douglas Macgregor, oft verbatim:

Recent wars, and America’s latest interventions, have added $14 trillion to the national sovereign debt.

All debt-financed.

Average American earns 31K. He pays out $16K.

Each and every working adult American has a debt hanging over them of roughly 240K.

On retiring, working Americans will draw a monthly Social Security payment of $1400.

Treacherous American politicians hand every criminal alien crossing the border a sum of $2200, for their troubles. The Afghans, hanging onto the planes and being lifted to the United State by American military, so wedded to foreigners all over the world—they too receive $2200 per month. Read my “Empire’s Soldiers Head To Afghanistan To Defend The Homeland And Their Homeboys.” To quote:

All we hear from the neocon Rambo Rescuers of Fox News is of the urgency of bringing these ‘Afghan allies’ to America. Fox News celebrity anchors and their tough-talking guests continue to trip over one another to talk up the wonders of our Afghan allies and the legions of Afghan Americans who have American citizenship, but happen to hang out a lot in Afghanistan. It’s a terrible affront, they all say, that America has failed to lift them all to safety. Between the Republicans and the Democrats, there isn’t a country in the world whose countrymen would not be a target for resettlement in America.—ILANA Mercer, “Empire’s Soldiers Head To Afghanistan To Defend The Homeland And Their Homeboys,” Sep 9, 2021.

We put these criminal aliens on that diet of $2200 from there on. Yet an American who works his entire life will retire on a $1400 monthly stipend, if lucky.

The people who lost everything in Maui, announced Biden, will get a one-time payout of $700. This as billions flow to Ukraine, an exercise in deceit and criminality. It is America last on every level.

The Afghans, hanging onto the planes and being lifted to the United State by American military, so wedded to foreigners all over the world—they too receive $2200 per month.

400,000 Ukrainian soldiers dead to 50,000 Russians.

60,000 Ukrainian children gone missing (but the crook Zelenski’s kids are just fine); women sold as sex slaves.

INDEED, “The people bathing in blood are in Kiev and Washington, not in Moscow.”

Terribly distressing hour, skillfully navigated by Tucker Carlson—who listens and says very little—dominated by a formidable patriot, Colonel Macgregor.

And the permanent State remains untouched. Politicians come and go and nothing changes. Politics is the dead zone.

Fix News is finished, having just fired their only attraction, Tucker Carlson. As a writer who put in years of sustained antiwar writing against Genghis Bush and the neocon coterie—who burned (and consequently burnt-out) as hot as a Babylonian kiln against invasions backed 100 percent by Faux New and its blond war-porn flank—something just short of total extinction seems a fitting fate for Fox. The foolish firing of their top rated host, and one of the highest-ranking cable news shows in the country, is sure to hasten the death rattle of the War Porn channel.

Evil And Envy

Fox News has thus cemented its unimpeachable credentials as lickspittle of the Republican Party, which it always was until Tucker. Just so there’s no confusion: the Party is exulting in Tucker’s ousting.

The intuitive and likely most base reason for the ouster of Tucker tracks with human nature: evil and envy strive for mediocrity.

The instinct of man is evil from his youth ~Genesis 8:21

Or, in the language of statistics, it’s the regression toward the mean; the quest in America for mediocrity:

“Tocqueville in the 19th century, and Solzhenitsyn in the 20th, noted that conformity of thought is powerfully prevalent among Americans,” observed my friend Clyde Wilson, professor of history at the University of South Carolina and the foremost scholar of John C. Calhoun.

So, too, do the responses from the mediocre media—and I flatter them—where one sees nothing but schadenfreude (“joy derived from the misfortunes of others”), track with the theory of evil and envy.

Fox News is an echo of the Republican Party, which serves the deep, warfare, industry-captured state.

Robert F. Kennedy, on the other hand, is “a choice, not an echo.”

One need not agree with every word Kennedy spoke in a pellucid address announcing for president, almost two hours long, delivered extemporaneously, to grasp that, on the defining issues of our time, almost all of which Kennedy addressed in depth and in detail, Robert F. Kennedy is right and righteous.

Of the welter of words spoken so very beautifully—for a man with a disorder of the vocal cords—Kennedy, Jr underplayed perhaps two issues and failed to mention but one crucial matter, while delivering a riveting information-dense address, at once deep and philosophical, yet wise and pragmatic, undergirded by historic and constitutional truth. Tactical to boot.

Against The Deep, Warfare, Woke, Industry-Captured State

The overarching impetus of  Robert F. Kennedy, Jr’s announcement is this:

Americans live and labor under an illiberal, unconstitutional, oppressive administrative state. Our representatives are meant to make law. How, then, has this vast bureaucracy, captured by globe-straddling industries, acquired tyrannical law-making powers! Most certainly not constitutionally.

Candidate Kennedy astutely connects the corrupt merger of state and corporate power with the events, stateside and abroad; past and present, unfolding around us—from the collapse of the dollar, the murder of the middle-class via Covid crackdowns and lockdowns (courtesy of the pharma-state), to inflation (Federal Reserve Bank), to the sundering of individual and constitutional rights, to war forevermore (in service of the military-industrial-complex against which Dwight Eisenhower and John Quincy forewarned). …

UPDATED (5/3):  From my April 27, 2023 column, “First, They Came For Tucker Carlson; Next Is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.“:

“Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., will need to address the border, as that by-now meaningless phrase goes. He has not. If he cares about the poor of his country, he must convince them that he is not part of the Ted Kennedy Fifth Column, which, in 1965, wrote the multicultural legislation that altered America forever. Kennedy Jr. will need to plug the border down South and, ideally, expel Biden’s legions of foreign invaders. If you are championing the middle-class and the working poor you cannot swamp their country with an unending supply of labor”

RFK, Jr., did so today, May 3:

While this isn’t nearly enough—RFK, Jr’s promise on immigration is no less than the Republicans have ever offered, and failed to deliver while in control of the presidency, both chambers and the gubernatorial landscape.

Dying For Nothing Day

A brave nation fights because it must; a cowardly one fights because it can ~ ilana (2003)

It is the habit on the Memorial Day weekend to thank uniformed men for their sacrifice. My sympathies go out to Americans who fight phantoms in far-flung destinations. I’m sorry they’ve been snookered into living, dying and killing for a lie. But I cannot honor that lie, or those who give their lives for it, and take the lives of others in America’s many recreational wars. I mourn for them, as I have from day one, but I can’t honor them.

I am sorry for those who’ve enlisted thinking they’d fight for their countrymen and were subjected to one backdoor draft after another in the cause of illegal, unjust wars and assorted informal attacks. My heart hurts for you, but I won’t worship at Moloch’s feet to make you feel better.

I honor those sad, sad draftees to Vietnam and to WW II. The first valiant batch had no option; the same goes for the last, which fought a just war. I grew up in Israel, so I honor those men who stopped Arab armies from overrunning our homes. In 1973, we came especially close to annihilation.

I can legitimately claim to know of flesh-and-blood heroes who fought so that I could emerge from the bomb shelter (in the wars of 67 and 73) and proceed with my kid life. I always stood in their honor and wept when the sirens wailed once a year. Every Israeli stops on that day, wherever he is, and stands still in remembrance. We would have died or been overrun by Arabs if not for those brave men who defended the homeland, and not some far-away imperial project.

But can we Americans, in 2013, make such a claim? Can we truly claim that members of the American military killed Iraqis or Afghanis or Libyans so that we may … do what? Remind me?

What I learned growing up in a war-torn region is that a brave nation fights because it must; a cowardly one fights because it can.”

Ultimately, it is “for the love of a brother-in-arms, and ‘Big Brother’ be damned,” explained Robert Glisson. This is why they of the “Patriot Guard Riders,” his band of brothers, truly fought. Men fight for one another and not for the causes imputed to them by the cowards who send them to battle.

The military is still a government job; a career path with huge risks. How fast the so-called small government types forget this immutable truth. From the appropriately titled Your Government’s Jihadi Protection Program (which the military has become):

“When Republicans and conservatives cavil about the gargantuan growth of government, they target the state’s welfare apparatus and spare its war machine. Unbeknown to these factions, the military is government. The military works like government; is financed like government, and sports many of the same inherent malignancies of government. Like government, it must be kept small. Conservative can’t coherently preach against the evils of big government, while excluding the military mammoth.”—ILANA (Your Government’s Jihadi Protection Program.)

AND, from Classical Liberalism And State Schemes:

We have a solemn [negative] duty not to violate the rights of foreigners everywhere to life, liberty, and property. But we have no duty to uphold their rights. Why? Because (supposedly) upholding the negative rights of the world’s citizens involves compromising the negative liberties of Americans—their lives, liberties, and livelihoods. The classical liberal government’s duty is to its own citizens, first.
“philanthropic” wars are transfer programs—the quintessential big-government projects, if you will. The warfare state, like the welfare state, is thus inimical to the classical liberal creed. Therefore, government’s duties in the classical liberal tradition are negative, not positive; to protect freedoms, not to plan projects. As I’ve written, “In a free society, the ‘vision thing’ is left to private individuals; civil servants are kept on a tight leash, because free people understand that a ‘visionary’ bureaucrat is a voracious one and that the grander the government (‘great purposes’ in Bush Babble), the poorer and less free the people.”

WATCH: Ukraine’s Azov Brigade: Nazis Or Just Nationalists?

Critique, Foreign Policy, Free Speech, Military, Nationalism, Race, Racism, War

ON HARD TRUTH this week, David Vance and I were joined by Nebojsa Malic to discuss his RT column, “Western media clubs together to white-wash Ukrainian Neo-Nazis.

I questioned the Nazi designation attached to the Azov Brigade, suggesting that, if Azov are not engaged in palpable acts of violence against the traditional Nazi victims and other ethnics, and are merely a military battalion fighting in the Russia-Ukraine military arena—then the Nazi insignia and paraphernalia are irrelevant. These symbols then fall into the category of ritual, impolite speech, thought crimes, the kind the Left is always criminalizing the Right for. Nebojsa and David counter my argument with facts to the contrary. All had a jolly good time. Join us and SUBSCRIBE. Get friends and family to Subscribe.
