WATCH: David and I discuss the ins-and-outs of the Jan. 6 Committee, also the Democrats’ September 11: Menstrual America Vs. MAGA America.

When Democrats and Pelosi’s Republican Poodles Weep; There is Mirth in the Vance-Mercer Studio:

The harder the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi’s Republican poodles wept—the greater was the mirth in the David Vance and ilana Mercer studio. Our superstar of a producer was in stitches, too. Good times.

UPDATE (8/1/021): Humor Alert: I never watch my own videos. So did I REALLY ask David, of https://HardTruthWithDavidVanceAndilanaMercer.podbean.com/, if Speaker Pelosi has a drinking problem? A viewer insist I did. David agrees.

Must something manifestly hilarious be marked with a “Humor Alert” before people allow laughter? Maybe Brits and their South African former subjects have a different sense of humor? This appended comment is way funny, too. Learn Brit humor:

Kinzinger to the crybaby Capitol cops: “you guys may, like, individually, feel a little broken. … But you guys won. You guys held.” LOL.

NEW COLUMN is “January 6 Committee: Menstrual America Vs. MAGA America.” Read it, for now, on WND.COM, the Unz Review, Townhall.com and The New American.

An excerpt:

Menstrual America has gained the upper hand. Feminized America has been on display in all her undignified inauthenticity, in the crybabies of Congress and in the loud and proud quitting at the 2020 Olympics.

In Menstrual America, medals go to congressmen and cops who wail the loudest when recounting their professional failings on Jan. 6, 2021.

And props are given not to athletes who “bring it” despite the jitters; but to those who crumble and quit, and then crow about the authenticity of it all.

Menstrual America’s rich and famous belong to a fraternity of foolish, showy killjoys. They take a knee anywhere and everywhere, to show the world how gynocentrically great they are.

Speaker Pelosi, of course, is nothing like that; the woman is made of steel. For political effect, though, she lugs around all kinds of crybabies.

One such Pelosi poodle is Adam Kinzinger. The Republican from Illinoi is serving on the January 6th Select Committee at the behest of the speaker.

On Day One of this Democratic happening, Kinzinger denounced Republicans’ attempts to compare the Jan. 6 melee to violence during last summer’s race riots:

“I condemn those riots and the destruction of property that resulted,” Kinzinger whimpered. “But not once did I ever feel that the future of self-governance was threatened like I did on Jan. 6. There is a difference between breaking the law and rejecting the rule of law. Between a crime, even grave crimes, and a coup.”

Kinzinger is correct: There is a difference between a crime and a coup. Crimes against innocent fellow citizens are acts of cowardice; a coup against the State can be heroic–just like the American Revolutionary War was a coup against Britain. …

Menstrual America: Culture Of Crying, Quitting And Kneeling

America, Etiquette, Gender, Human Accomplishment, Race, Racism, Sport

Culture of Crybabies: When the Crybaby is King

Tucker Carlson mocked the weeping and abreacting congressmen and Capitol police force, who are without shame or dignity, during the Jan 6 hearings, now underway.

But you see, in American culture, weeping, sniveling and making ugly faces in public is considered a display of authenticity, true grief and hence virtue.

In English-influenced cultures like South Africa and Canada, crying in public is more likely to be considered tacky, showy and often insincere.

Personally, sharing grief with strangers would be difficult, phony and futile.

The Insider:

Police officers, who were attacked by a pro-Trump mob that descended on the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the election, delivered emotional testimonies of their experiences on January 6, pushing some lawmakers to tears.

Video shows House lawmakers, including Reps. Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and Zoe Lofgren tearing up at the accounts of the officers who were at the Capitol and at footage of the insurrection. Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, a Democrat from New Hampshire, was also seen wiping away tears as she left the hearing on Tuesday.

The “Protectors” still can’t cope:

“The four officers testifying — DC Metropolitan Police Officers Daniel Hodges and Michael Fanone, plus Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn and Sgt. Aquilino Gonell …
More than six months later, January 6 still isn’t over for me,” Dunn, a Black officer who endured racist attacks from insurrectionists during the assault, told the panel. “I know so many other officers continue to hurt, both physically and emotionally,”

Culture of Quitters:

Part of the Olympian spirit is grit: Showing up, and dealing with the stress of performance, if only for your teammates. But American women are perfecting, displaying on the world stage, and likely exporting and normalizing our therapeutic culture.

Simone Biles, who shocked the Olympic world Tuesday when she pulled out of the U.S. team gymnastics finals, said the emotional toll of the Tokyo Games, not a physical injury, prompted her withdrawal.
“Physically, I feel good. I’m in shape,” she told Hoda Kotb on NBC’s “TODAY” show following her exit. “Emotionally, it varies on the time and moment. Coming to the Olympics and being head star isn’t an easy feat.”
She explained further to NBC’s Andrea Joyce that her struggle was “more mental, and we’re just dealing with a couple of things internally.” NBC)

The progressive media, run by silly women (many with the Y chromosome), are praising the quitting as an incontestable personal triumph. How standards have been inverted! What was once considered a failure is now a triumph. See, if anxiety makes performance impossible, there is no need to frame failure as a win. We can sympathize and commiserate, but let us applaud those who BRING IT despite the jitters.

Japan might rethink letting an American-minded primadonna represent them. The media is  obfuscating what went down with tennis player Naomi Osaka, so I am unsure as to whether she has withdrawn from the 2020 Olympics competition, of if she just lost. She had, however, withdrawn from “the French Open in May after refusing to participate in media availabilities.

Culture of Kneeling

American athletes are becoming real killjoys. It is they who started the dumbass kneeling or taking a knee, and have now infected the world with it.

Finally, A Free-Market Awakening: The Market For Medicine For The Unvaccinated Is HUGE

Argument, COVID-19, Critique, Healthcare, Propaganda, Science, The State

Medical maleficence! Medical malpractice—and a testament to the incurious, mediocrities most doctors are: This is how Peter MuCullough, as fine a thinker as he is a clinician, has characterized a consensus among the medical community that, for some reason, COVID-19 (unique among all diseases) is, and must remain, impervious to treatment.

Group think gripping Americans, in general, and institutionalized, intellectual atrophy and ineptness, in particular, have stopped doctors from doing what medicine had always done: come up with a combination of drugs to treat outpatients, and treat them early, so as to reduce hospitalizations and mortality from COVID-19.

Well, rays of freedom are peeking through the clouds. There is a large enough segment of the population which has reserved the right to question vaccines behind which are two months of clinical safety data (most vaccines can take years to approve), no formal FDA approval process, and  whose manufacturers are exempt by a corrupt state from liability.

These “foolish,” “irrational,” vaccine-resisters have also surmised rather rationally that, following the vaccination edict will come bullying about a booster, given the waning immune response conferred by Covid vaccines.

So, as corrupt as state-co-opted medicine has become; some free-market incentives are still in operation. All the more so in Japan, where an intelligent population has chosen not to vaccinate, for the most: at about 8%, rates of vaccination in Japan are extremely low.

A Japanese company sees an opportunity; a market for sensible treatment.

Via Daily Beast:

The race to develop an oral cure for COVID-19 has just heated up with the announcement that Japanese pharmaceutical company Shionogi has started human trials for its once-a day tablet meant to neutralize the virus in patients. Pfizer and Merck are already in later-stage trials for similar treatments, which are presently missing as a tool to battle the pandemic. Pfizer’s twice-daily treatment could be available by the end of 2021. The advent of a reliable cure would be especially important for those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, say medical experts.

Pfizer, too:

Pfizer has said its twice-daily pill could be ready to hit the market as soon as this year. It is preparing to enroll more than 2,000 patients in a test of the antiviral pill combined with a booster antiviral drug against a placebo.

All three companies aim to fill one of the biggest gaps in fighting the pandemic. Vaccines remain effective at preventing serious illness from known strains of the Covid-19 virus including the contagious Delta strain, studies have shown. But some people don’t want to get vaccinated, and cases can occur for those who do get their shots.

Of course, thanks to the pockets of free-market medicine extant in the USA, there are already heroic frontline doctors, fine, courageous and imaginative clinicians—the best of the best—who’re acting to treat patients with an existing arsenal of well-tested and already approved medicines.
